Abstrak

This study examines the transformation of Islamic education management in the face of the era of artificial intelligence (AI) with a focus on developing the quality of Islamic educational institutions. The purpose of the research is to analyze the adaptation strategy and implementation of AI technology in the Islamic education management system while maintaining fundamental Islamic values. This study uses the library research method by examining various primary and secondary literature sources, including reference books, scientific journals, educational policy documents, and publications related to Islamic education management and the implementation of AI in education. Data analysis was carried out descriptive-analytically with a content analysis approach to produce a comprehensive synthesis of the integration of AI in Islamic education management. The results of the study show that the implementation of AI in Islamic education management can optimize administrative processes, data-driven decision-making, personalized learning, and a more effective evaluation system. However, there are significant challenges in terms of infrastructure readiness, human resource competence, and alignment with sharia principles. This research produces an AI-based conceptual model of Islamic education management that considers the aspects of sharia maqashid and the needs of modern education. The contribution of this research is the development of a strategic framework to integrate AI in Islamic education management that can be implemented by Islamic educational institutions at various levels. Recommendations include the development of AI-based curricula, capacity building for educators and administrators, and the development of technological infrastructure that supports digital transformation while maintaining Islamic values.
