Ethics Of Using Ai In The Learning Process According To Islam: A Review
Abstract
Along with the rapid development of technology, AI has become an integral part of the world of education, offering opportunities to improve the effectiveness of learning. However, the application of AI also presents various ethical challenges, especially in the context of Islamic values. The background of this study is based on the increasing integration of AI in the education system, which presents a dilemma between technological innovation and the application of spiritual and moral values. An ethical approach rooted in Islamic principles is needed to ensure that AI is efficient, moral, and just. This study examines the ethics of using artificial intelligence (AI) in learning from an Islamic perspective. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method by collecting data from scientific publication articles indexed in Google Scholar. The data collection process was carried out with the help of Harzing's Publish or Perish software using the keywords "Etika AI dan Pembelajaran" and then analyzed using the content analysis method. The study results show that Islamic ethics highlights the importance of implementing AI based on justice, responsibility, trust, and maslahah. AI should support educational goals, addressing students' intellectual, moral, and spiritual needs. Justice requires transparency to prevent discrimination, while responsibility and trust ensure ethical use and data integrity. Maslahah emphasizes maximizing benefits for all without compromising justice and equality. Implications this study offers guidance for policymakers, developers, and educators to design AI in education that enhances learning while aligning with Islamic ethical principles, ensuring moral integrity and equitable outcomes.
